CHEMICAL COATING
CHEMICAL COATING
Chemical coating is a process in which a thin layer of material is applied to a surface to provide protection, decoration, or other functional properties. This process can be used to coat a variety of materials, including metals, plastics, and composites. The material used for the coating can be a liquid, powder, or solid. Common types of chemical coatings include paints, lacquers, enamels, and electroplating. The coating can be applied by spraying, dipping, brushing, or other methods. The coating can also be cured using heat, ultraviolet light, or other methods.
A chemical conversion coating is a surface treatment applied to metals in which the metal undergoes a chemical reaction at the surface. This chemical reaction transforms the metal surface into a thin protective layer.
